Zhudong Township Committee has six sections, four offices and four branches under its jurisdiction that are responsible for the work as follows: |
- The Civil Affairs Section: in charge of general civil affairs, mediation, autonomous administration, land management, military administration, ancestral memorial property, folk custom, historic sites preservation and archives, local public enterprise, educational administration, indigenous affairs, mortuary services, civil defense, Jointing National Defense Mobilization and disaster mitigation.
- Finance section: in charge of finance, public property, cashier, and assistance of internal revenue service ,etc.
- Construction Section: responsible for civil engineering, rainwater and sewage engineering , traffic engineering, engineering, inspection & reporting of construction regulations and building violations enforcement.
- Agricultural Economics Section: in charge of such work as Agriculture, husbandry, fishing and forestry affairs , promotion of agriculture, livestock and fisheries, agricultural marketing, investigation of agricultural situation, soil and water conservation, wildlife protection, tourism industry, fair trade, consumer protection and industrial and business administration.
- Social Culture Section: in charge of general social affairs, community development, subsidy of activities, social welfare, social movement, medicare subsidy, social relief and aid, Hakka affairs administration, arts and culture, national health insurance and national pension.
- Administration Office: in charge of documents, files, seal / imprimatur, news, general affairs, Gov’t policies & decrees, planning, citizen services, information and matters not in the charge of other sections.
- Personnel Office: in charge of personnel administration affairs.
- Accounting and Statistics Office: dealing with budgeting, accounting and statistics .
- Civil Service Ethics Office: handling civil service ethics issues.
- Cleaning Unit: in charge of the following matters :
( 1 ) Removing, transporting, burying and handling rubbish;
( 2 ) Cleaning roads, dredging ditches, clearing away wastes and recovering resources.
( 3 ) Rubbish damp management and ash collectors maintenance.
( 4 ) Checking, sanitary and environmental work and public harzads.
( 5 ) Management, supervision and exmination of other work related to cleaning.
- Township Nursery: in charge of children education and health, healthcare and social work etc.
- Township library: in charge of library services, acquisition, cataloging, collection, reading data reference and promotions of social education and art activities.
- Township stadium: be responsible for sports administration, promoting public sports, managing stadium and other sports matters.
- Public Utilities Section: in charge of markets and parks management.
