Located on the north point of Hsinchu County, Sinfong Township is next to the Taiwan Strait. Fabulous the Dutch people landed at Sinfong in the Ming Dynasty after a shipwreck. Therefore, it was also called the Hongmao Kan (Red Hair Port). Its rich shore resources provide much advantage for the development of the country. The convenient transportation brought by Tai-1 Highway and Chu-3 Highway has made southeastern Hsinfeng a good spot for industrial development. The industrial zone there has brought much benefit to local prosperity. The opening of the Shibin Highway and the use of the coastal resources, together with the golf courts and recreational facilities have made the area a potential spot for tourism.

It was originally called Dahukou or Dawokou, and Hukou is an abbreviation of these older names. Located at the border with Taoyuan County, if is a town on Hukou Plateau in the northwest of Fengshan. As the Hsinchu Science-based Industrial Park is located in the country, it promotes industrial and commercial development around the country. Many tea farms have survived on the plateau. Hukou Old Street is a famous attraction for historical monuments. The central-cross railway line has set a station in Hukow, and the cathedral located at the corner of Hukou Old Street was the old railway station. After the railway station was moved to Hsinhukow in the west, the prosperity of Hukow became history,except the street scenes left for people to remember the glory in the past. Today, tourism and rural renewal have brought a second chance to old Hukou.

Located in northwest Hsinchu, Chungshan FreeWay, Shibin Expressway and Tai-1 Highway provide convenient transportation to the city. It Is the most important gate of the Hsinchu area. The county government and urban service center are located in the city. After the completion of the Liuchia HSR Station area. Hsinchu County Government Phase II, and the NTUT Jhubei Camp Us projects, the industrial transformation in urban Hsinchu and the formation of the central-island industrial development, the fusion of all ethnic groups will be the biggest feature in Jhubei. Different ethnic groups living in the city will respect one another, and learn the mother tongue of one another.
Moreover, cooperation in local construction and development will never be parted. Jhubei is the city which will lead Hsinchu toward future development.

Located in northeastern Hsinchu, the mountain area of the town links with the Hukou Plateau, and Shali River runs southerly in between. The main street is the traffic, cultural, business and agriculture product center of the town. Han people cultivated Sinpu Town over two hundred years ago. Due to the early Hakka settlement and the land-locked characteristics of the town, Hakka tradition is well preserved in the town. The famous Hakka bantiao (rice noodle) and persimmon cakes are still beloveds of locals. The Yimin Temple in Fangliao is even the faith center of Hakka people.The expansion project of Tai-118 and Tai-115 highways has provided better connections to Chungshan Freeway and Taipei Second Freeway.Therefore, it will bring more visitors to Sinpu on weekends.

It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and Fengshan River runs through the town, it is the major development settlement of the town. The river terrain at the meeting point of Niaoian River and Fengshan is the traffic hub of the mountain area in northeast Hsinchu and northern and southern Taiwan. The opening of the Taipei Second Freeway has brought convenient transportation and the development of tourism industry to the town. These development projects Include golf courses, theme parks and resort clubs. Today, the town has the highest golf course density in Taiwan. Moreover, Guansi is also the town of longevity.

Cyonglin is located at the center of Hsinchu County and is the smallest village in the county; however, its beauty of landscape and richness of human culture is the extraordinary part. There were 20 to 30 private schools (mon guan) in the early Cyonglin, which could say as the literary land of Hsinchu. The Wenlin Pavilion was built in 1876 and still exists. There is a Confucius Memorial Service s on every September 28 here to publicize the ideas of respecting teachers. Another literary spot is a house in Wenlin village, named "Jyi Liao Woh". It was a place to produce papers and it also worship the unique god- Tsai Lun- the father of paper-making.
The reminiscence of Cyonglin is richer at the old streets next to the Kwan Fu Temple. The wood-made and brick-made two-floors old buildings are still there and the traditional stithy, tofu stores, rice stores are still opening.
That is, the time seems passing by slowly at Cyonglin. During January and February, the citrus is productive and other products as Hai li tangerine, tomatoes, Kao che pears, and Maoku tangerine, etc. The beauty of landscape at Cyonglin not only makes the FengFon shan famous but becomes the satellite residential area of Hsinchu technology town. The ingoing of technologists and county jurisdiction take the Cyonglin into modernization.

The town is the business center of the county. As it is next to Shangping River and Touchien River, the water source is rich. !t is the traffic hub of the county and the entrance of 8 other countries and towns located to the south of the Tuochien River. It has been one of the top three towns in Taiwan. Jhudong was famous for camphor products. After the drilling of oil and rise of the cement and glass industries and forestation. Jhudong has become a prosperous town. As Touchung and Erchung districts of Jhudong are included in the Hsinchu Science-based industrial Park Phase III Project, the town will turn into a high-tech R&D center.

Beipu district is mostly located on mountainside. It is divided into the Beipu and Nanpu basins by the river. Though there is no broad and flat alluvial plain in the country, soil is a fertile and the water sources for irrigation are rich. Beipu is one of the last-developed places in the county, and it was called Jhubei-bao Nanhsing Chuang. Due to its specific armed immigrant background and the Hakka influence, it became quite a different settlement. Beipu accumulated rich historical heritage, and local cultural groups are very active, it is a dynamic preservation area of dayi Hakkanese culture, and a creative and energetic Hakka culture circle.

Located on the southwest mountainside of the county, it is the second biggest district due to the land area and one of the two mountain countries in the county. It is inhabited by both Taiya and Saisha tribes and is the origin of the tattooed face culture. The ancestral ritual of Taiya Tribe and the spirit ritual of Saisha Tribe are the most important cultural heritage of the area. In natural sources, Ching Chuan hot spring, the holy wood in Kuaishan, Kwanwu and Tabachienshan of Shei-pa scenic way attracted many visitors. The cultivation of high elevation fruit and vegetables and the promotion of the recreational agriculture and culture trips of the county have brought new opportunities for the development of the district.

JIANSHIH
Located in southeast Hsinchu, it is an another mountain district in the county. It is the hometown of Taiya people. It has rich natural resources, including Shaolien Hot Springs, Shihmakushi, Chenshihbao Holy Wood, Dabachien Shan, Tao Shan, and Tienling in the Sheba Scenic Area. Therefore, the district has attracted many visitors. In recent years, local people have been engaging in the cultivation of high elevation vegetable. After combining to the e-market channel, it is a potential business. The combination of the high elevation vegetables, peaches and pears, recreational agriculture and culture trips will bring new opportunities to the development of the district. Taiya people are born hunters. If we can establish a hunting culture park in the district to combine hiking, rescue in the wild, folk activities,and plant ecology,the district will be the first training center of ecology talent in Taiwan to construct new ecological preservation concepts to Taiwan and become the ideal spot for cultural trips in Taiwan.

Yaolo River penetrates the entire district and is the source of life of the district. Under the river there are lots of black stones, reddish yellow stones, turtleback stones, stone core, and igneous rocks. Patterns on the stones and rocks often reveal the splendor of nature and the beauty of the local people. These stones attract countless stone fans, which form another culture of the district. Hengshan has rich agricultural resources and was famous for Hengshan pears. Today, limestone and tangerines are the major products of the county.
Neiwan railway line is the lifeline of the local economy and is the major transportation of Hengshang.
Limestone, transported via the line, brought the village prosperity.A tourism farm has become a new industry of the county in recent years; therefore,local people hope that the operation of communities and firefly culture can help strengthen the tourism resources of the line and bring new opportunities to the district.
